About the role:

Reporting to the Marketing Brand Manager, Repco Australia, the Marketing Specialist (Social Media Organic) role provides social media support for Repco with a trans-Tasman approach that covers the Australian and New Zealand regions.

The Social Media Specialist will be a self-motivated and details-oriented creative with a flair for Social Media. 

You will manage organic social media channels, plan content calendars, look after the everyday community management (moderating and responding to comments), content development, scheduling/posting, reporting and competitor analysis. You will be tasked with creating engaging content from both existing campaigns and marketing activity, as well as bespoke product or enthusiast content, growing online audiences, and driving results through organic digital marketing solutions.  You will also draft reports, work cross-functionally and collaborate with the broader marketing and merchandise teams.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Gatekeeper and curator of their social media community across all platforms
  • Develop, manage, and execute advertising plans and business initiatives within the social media content pillars
  • Content creation – shooting, editing, executing.
  • Mange the visual content for various social media platforms including, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube.
  • Implement regular performance reviews across content, audience, social tools, and competitors and strategically update plans based on key learnings
  • Weekly/ Monthly reporting on our social media platforms to the business
  • Deliver ad-hoc reports as necessary for special projects, campaigns as needed across social channels
  • Project management
  • Marketing P&L quota realisation
